We gratefully acknowledge the gifts of encouragement, support and sacrifices our parents, wives and families have generously given us to enable the privilege of sharing music with others.  We view music itself and any abilities to sing and play as gifts from God and are honored to be able to use them to share the message of the gospel.

Frank King
​Guitar & Vocals

Frank has been playing and singing since his early teen years.  He has played in several gospel & bluegrass bands with a passion for spreading the Word of God through music, hoping to touch the hearts of many.  In addition to lead vocals, Frank plays rhythm guitar and writes songs, many of which are featured in our music.  Frank and his wife Dianna live in Washington, NC.

Cameron Taylor
Bass & Vocals

Cameron joined Damascus Ridge in 2021.  He has a varied musical background and started playing in his early school years, becoming interested in bluegrass in middle school, and gospel music in high school.  His influences were Dailey & Vincent and the Bankesters.  Cameron is also accomplished on drums and guitar.  Cameron's dad, Greg played bass and served as front man for the group for several years.  Cameron and his wife Kelsey live in Raleigh, NC.

Joe Pessolano
Mandolin, Dobro & Vocals

Joe started early playing bluegrass. Probably best known for his excellent mandolin work, he is now adding dobro to some of our selections.  Joe also sings tenor/lead vocals, helps craft our arrangements and is our sound guru.   Joe and Ashley with their son & daughter Camden & Elizabeth live in Willow Spring, NC.  

Chris Hill
Fiddle & Vocals

Chris has been dragging the bow since age 7.  The fire was sparked when he heard Bobby Hicks playing with Ricky Scaggs on his dad's stereo 40+ years ago.  Chris has had the opportunity to perform with some of the best.  He was a member of the chart topping Grass Cats, Al Batten & The Bluegrass Reunion and has appeared with Ralph Stanley, The Lewis Family and Mac Wiseman.  These along with a long list of family and local musicians have played an integral part in his journey as a musician and he is excited to continue on as the newest member of Damascus Ridge. Chris and his wife Tiffannie and children Coleman, Alex and Lily live in Kinston, NC.

John Dudley
Banjo, Guitar & Vocals

John began learning bluegrass in his early teens.  He plays banjo & guitar and adds baritone harmony to the group.  John is happy to be sharing the gospel through music.  John and his wife, Julia, live in Zebulon, NC.
